  Sometimes things happen that make me realize God's presence not only my life, but in all of our lives. Kevin's two year anniversary is on Easter this year. It's something I have been thinking about a lot lately and will continue to remember as the date draws nearer. In a way, to me, it's an Easter miracle. It couldn't have coincided with a better date. It's truly beautiful.

  dear healey family,
  your family continues to be in my prayers. i wished to express to you he deep personal impact Kevin still makes on my life. two months ago a malignant tumor was found in my left foot. luckily, with surgery it was immediatley removed but as it continues to threaten my health and once again grow I immediatley think of Kevin. though my situation is no way comparable, Kevin is still an inspiration of faith when it is most difficult. after treatment is completed I am going to get a tattoo. This tattoo is extremley important to me because it will always commemorate the impact Kevin made on my life and continues to make on my life. The tattoo is a four leaf clover with the cancer ribbon as the stem. around the clover is Kevin's initials as well as the quote "Like a Champion". Kevin was a great blessing into my life as well as the life of others, I hope to always have his spirit and faith guide me in trouble. You all remain in my prayers.

  Dear Healeys,
  I was deleted folders on my computer and found Kevin's folder. I was so happy I stumbled on it again. As I read, I remembered the sadness I felt when Kevin was ill. Most of all I remembered the strength he gave all of us. I was glad to see that this website is still running.
  I'm going to say a prayer for you all and hope you are doing well.

  My seventh and eighth grade year I was the one taking casre of the kindergarteners. As I would bring them in I would see you standing there smiling through some of the hardest times. I would like to thank you for the inspiration you brought me to keep smiling no matter what it has made all the difference.

  Please know that I am praying daily to Kevin and to Our Lord Jesus Christ for his work in Heaven and on Earth.
  
  I can only imagine that Kevin is leading the charge in Heaven for Our Lord's Holy plan.
  
  Be encouraged for your continued courage and strength during the past few years, and the years to come.
  
  Anyone who reads this beautiful testiomony to your son realizes that we were talking to a Living Saint. As I pray to him for intercessions, I remember his strengh, courage and beautiful smile.

  Dear Ann, Tom and Mary Kate,
  Please know that we are thinking about you today--this the first anniversary of Kevin's passing into eternal life. Yesterday John Carroll University held their Relay for Life. Thought you would like to know that there was a Luminaria burning for Kevin from the Knox Family. Kevin and the many people we know who have been affected by cancer were remembered in our laps around the Quad as well. God bless you all... Love,

  Just wanted to let you know that I have been thinking of Kevin today. I can't believe it has been a year. I pray for the Healey's and remember them often. I wish I lived closer as I would have loved to been at the mass today. Kevin's memory is alive in so many people. Stay strong.
